Dr. Michele Scervini has developed a new thermocouple for high-temperature applications

A new high temperature thermocouple able to withstand higher temperatures for longer has been designed by Dr. Michele Scervini with Prof. Cathie Rae. This new revolutionary thermocouple can improve temperature measurement accuracy, extend thermocouple life as well as significantly enhance drift characteristics. Cambridge Enterprise has successfully negotiated a licensing agreement with TE Wire & Cable LLC, a world leading thermocouple manufacturer that will promote the technology to their client base.
